By creating a Forkato account, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Forkato provides recipe management, meal planning, and shopping list tools. We use AI to extract recipes from URLs and images. Results are estimates and should be verified.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use Forkato. Do not share your account credentials.
Do not use Forkato to: scrape content in bulk, distribute copyrighted material, harass other users, or attempt to reverse-engineer the service.
You retain ownership of recipes you create or import. By sharing recipes to a household, you grant household members access to view and use them. If you generate a public share link (/recipe/{id}/preview or /c/{token}), you grant us a non-exclusive license to render that content on a public page for the duration of the link. Forkato does not claim ownership of your content.
The free tier is offered at no cost and may include display and rewarded video ads. Forkato Premium costs $4.99 per month and unlocks unlimited recipe imports, AI meal planning, AI ingredient discovery, household sharing (up to six members), and an ad-free experience. Billing is monthly through Stripe; you can cancel any time from the Billing page and retain Premium access through the end of the current billing period. We may adjust pricing going forward with advance notice to active subscribers.
Free-tier users can watch an optional rewarded video ad in the mobile app to earn bonus recipe imports (currently five per ad, capped at fifteen bonus imports per calendar month). Bonus imports reset at the start of each month. Declining ads has no effect on your use of the free tier.
Forkato earns commissions on qualifying purchases made through Amazon Associates, Walmart affiliate, and Instacart affiliate links. These commissions do not change the price you pay. Premium subscription prices are unrelated to affiliate revenue.
Nutrition estimates are sourced from the USDA FoodData Central database and are approximate. They should not be used for medical or dietary decisions without consulting a professional.
Forkato is provided "as is" without warranty. We are not liable for any damages arising from use of the service, including inaccurate recipe extractions, nutrition data, or cook times.
We may update these terms. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
